Hello Aspirant,
Seeing your rank and category details, your chances of getting admission into IET Lucknow for CSE and IT branch is very tough and difficult.
Also, after subsequent other rounds as well you won't get CSE or IT branch.
But, you have good chances of getting admission through EIE, Civil, chemical and Mechanical engineering.

Hope that helps. Good luck
Hello. Yes, Uma Nath Singh institute of engineering is affiliated to AKTU of lucknow.
Hope that helps!
Hi aspirant, since you have the chance to choose in between IIIT and IET in my opinion you should definitely go for IIIT .Firstly because IET, Lucknow is owned by State government where in comparison to that IIIT is a Central government owned college. Secondly since IIIT is a cental govt. owned institute hence the placement of IIIT will always be higher than in comparison to IET. So overall what you get in IET you can also get in IIIT but what is in IIIT is not in IET.
Good Luck.
Hi aspirant, on behalf of the rank i.e. 13898 if you want to get any of these colleges you may have to wait for second or third round of counselling. But from this rank you may have to compromise for top branches like CS, IT etc. As these are the topmost colleges of AKTU so so the top ranker students will choose these kinds of branches first. But you will also get the chances but maximum chances that you have is of any core branches in these types of colleges.
Good Luck.
Dear aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. As per your Thapar IET, Patiala is a very renowned and good institution for pursuing your above mentioned courses. The dual degree (BE in ECE+MBA) at the Thapar Institute is a really good and reliable option for you if you want to earn 2 degrees (B.Tech & MBA) in just 5 years. Other than that it will also help you open up a huge arena for your job aspects and will also help in getting placed earlier that your batch mates. The combination of B.Tech along with MBA is ever demanding and companies are always in search of such candidates.. In current scenario every organization is looking out for such candidates who are already aware of the industry and work so that they start working from the very first day on job. Recruiters today find those students who have knowledge in both engineering and management, and this exposure and experience can be gained by this degree. Please click on the link below for more information and updates. Hope you find this helpful. Thank you.

Hello,
Placements of VIT HAS AVERAGE PACKAGE OF 6.05 LAKH While Thapar has Average Package of 6.69 Lakh. Here Thapar is Better. But Thapar has more % of it's students in CS and IT then VIT. Many say that Thapar had better quality of Student But as of Data of 2019. Even 65 Percentile students could get admission in Thapar.
I hope that helps you to make a wiser decision. Rest, the success in any field depends upon your own quest to knowledge, hard work & networking skills. All the best for your future endeavors.
Hey!
As you mentioned that you have got your second choice and you have floated that. float menas you have been allotted a seat and you've accepted the seat but you want a better programme than what you've been allotted. In this case once you are allotted a seat in the further rounds, you'll lose the seat which was allotted previously. So , in second round you have chances to get the Rohilkhand University , but nothing is certain, so chose wisely.
Thankyou
Dear Candidate,
The ranks for various categories differ from each other. Colleges have different closing ranks for different categories. As per your doubt, you may or may not get admission based on the last year's rank. It is just an estimate & many factors come into consideration before actually saying about the closing rank.
Hope this helps.
Hi aspirant!
Yes you can get admission in Institute of engineering and technology. Through SCGL quota you can get admission as the cut off for 2019 of SCGL quota was 1973. So there is a possibility of you getting a seat there. You can even get it through SC rank. The last year cut off for SC quota was 7406 for CSE, and even lower for other streams.

Hope this helps!
All the best!
Dear student,
As you have secured 2756 general ews rank in upsee, then it is impossible for you to get any branch in any of the three top goverment colleges that you have mentioned, i.e, IET LUCKNOW, BIET JHANSI or KNIT SULTANPUR. Because for getting these colleges your ews rank must be under 600, then only your general merit rank will be under 6000.
Because with this 2756 ews rank your overall general merit rank is much more than 10000. And with overall general merit rank or you can say CRL rank there is no chance of getting these three colleges as per seeing last year cutoff trends.
Here are the last year cutoff closing ranks for round 3 counselling (extracted from the offical site of upsee) for ews category candidates on the basis of their CRL ranks or overall general merit ranks :-
BIET jhansi :-
Chemical engineering (shift 1) - 6751
Civil engineering (shift 1) - 5673
Computer science and engineering (shift 1) - 2063
Electrical engineering ( shift 1) - 5142
Electronics and communication engineering (shift 1) - 4241
Information technology ( shift 1) - 3174
Mechanical engineering ( shift 1) - 4992
Knit sultanapur :-
Civil engineering (shift 1) - 5488
Computer science and engineering (shift 1) - 1598
Electrical engineering ( shift 1) - 4790
Electronics engineering (shift 1) - 4213
Information technology ( shift 1) - 2755
Mechanical engineering ( shift 1) - 4917
IET LUCKNOW :-
Chemical Engineering-3658
Civil Engineering -2512
Computer Science and Engineering-682
Electrical Engineering -1943
Electronics and Communication Engineering-1299
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering - 3115
Information Technology -975
Mechanical Engineering-2253
Now last year for round 4, i.e, spot round counseling, the cutoff closing ranks for ews candidates on the basis of their CRL ranks (I have data only for Iet lucknow) :-
Iet lucknow :-
Chemical Engineering-4705
Civil Engineering - 3182
Computer Science and Engineering-682
Electrical Engineering- 2160
Electronics and Communication Engineering - 1876
Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering-3484
Information Technology-1120
Mechanical Engineering-2420
All the above mentioned ranks are General merit ranks.
So, there is no chance that your can get any branch in these colleges. And also, you can't get chemical engineering branch in iet Lucknow even in spot round counselling as per seeing the cutoff trends.
