This is a two-year program directed towards preparing students for a future teaching career at senior secondary and higher secondary levels of education.
M.Ed: This Master of Education (M.Ed.) program has an intake of eligible students of about 100. The procedure followed for admissions into this M.Ed. program is similar to that of the B.Ed. programs in regard to selection based on merit. Therefore, selection of candidates would be based on marks secured in the qualifying examination/entrance examination or any other means prescribed by the government or university or UT Administration. Such content shall attract students who wish to refine their teaching skills or engage in some form of leadership in education.
D.Ed.: Janata College of Education has also instituted a Diploma in Education (D.Ed.) program. Admission, similar to that for B.Ed. and M.Ed. Any other such information regarding this diploma program may be obtained directly from the college.
