Maya College of Pharmacy, Dehradun, is renowned as the leading institution in Uttarakhand for pharmacy education, offering specialized pharmacy programs. Degree-wise Admission Process
A maximum of 30 seats are allotted to B. Pharma students with an intake of 60 students. The merit list for admission in B. Pharma is generated first from the available seats based on the score secured in the entrance exam held by the University or State Government. Sponsored and management quota students are accepted by the college.
Among the many academic programs available to equip people for the manufacture of drugs, the two programs that really lie at the threshold of pharmaceutical education are just B.Pharma and D.Pharma. Basically, the B.Pharma program is a four-year degree program aimed at preparing students with sufficient knowledge and skills, eligible to practice in their pharmacy profession; the course itself will focus on pharmaceutical sciences as a whole. While D.Pharma is a two-year program targeted at applying some knack in shorter duration programs for either those wanting to pursue this path or others pursuing further studies in pharmacy.
