JSS College Ooty Placement Procedure

First , the Placement Cell identifies top 20 pharmaceutical industries from fortune 500 companies, and top hospitals, academic institutions for the placement of graduates of all programs and ensures the placements PAN India.
They register the eligible and interested candidates one day before the Pre-Placement orientation.
A welcome poster/standee is installed for the companies visiting with the description of company name, members, programme name and venue.
The cell also arranges rooms/ halls to conduct aptitude tests, group discussion and interviews in.
After the recruiting drive, they collect the resume from eligible candidates after follow up from the recruiters and announce the results followed by documentation.

The Government of India and the Pharmacy Council of India introduced the Doctor of Pharmacy, or Pharm.D, as a six-year professional pre-Ph.D. postgraduate doctorate in 2008. The Doctor of Pharmacy was developed with the goal of improving clinical pharmacy services in India because it is the only pharmacy service that has direct contact with the patient health care system. Students enrolling in the programme must finish a five-year classroom and hospital-based didactic study programme, followed by a one-year internship training programme in hospitals, which includes continuous practicals and research projects. Pharm.D. is a postgraduate degree, and students who complete the course can immediately enrol in a Pharm.D programme.

Admission to the Bachelor of Pharmacy course is done on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in the entrance exam conducted by the JSS Academy Of Higher Education resource Mysore. The number of total seats available in Bachelor of Pharmacy course are 140. The candidates are required to clear 10 + 2 class level board examination with English physics chemistry and mathematics is compulsory subjects.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA;
