Last year the last rank to get admission in leather designing in NIFT chennai was 6790, NIFT Kolkata was 6908 and NIFT raebareli was 6973.

National Institute of Fashion Technology or NIFT is the pioneer institute in fashion education of India having 16 campuses spread across the country.

All the 16 NIFT campuses offer the same degree courses at both UG and PG level.

Undergraduate (UG) Programs

Bachelor of Design (B.Des).Bachelor of Fashion Technology (B.F.Tech.).

The B. Des degree course is further offered in 7 disciplines. These disciplines include the following.

Fashion Design (FD).Leather Design (LD).Textile Design (TD).Accessory Design (AD).Knitwear Design (KD).Fashion Communication (FC).

However, not each of the NIFT offers all the 7 branches.

The admission process at NIFTs is a 3-stage process comprising of a written test, a Situation Test/GD, and a personal interview. The process is common for both bachelors and masters programs.

The fee structure of nift be around and above 1lakhs in every semester. Also am amount of 20300 has to be paid which includes Security Deposits, Registration Fee , Alumni association Charges (to be paid in second last sem) .

The eligibility criteria of NIFT 2019 was announced by the National Institute of Fashion Technology on October 22, 2018. Aspirants seeking admissions to B.Des. and B.FTech programmes across sixteen campuses of the Institute must know NIFT 2019 eligibility criteria before filling the online application form. Those, who fulfill the specified age and educational requirements for NIFT entrance exam 2019, will be considered eligible.

Hello Kirti Gagneja, the Hostel fee for NIFT college, Delhi is around one lakh and ten thousand only. And that too for a Air-conditioned rooms. As the Hostel rooms for NIFT, Delhi are only Air-conditioned rooms. So you have to pay for that, that is around one lakh and ten thousand.

Well your score is quite decent so I believe that you can get:

• NIFT Bhopal
• NIFT chennai
• NIFT gandhinagar
• NIFT Kolkata

As per last year cut off.

But I suggest you to use college predictors so then you will get an idea that what are the possible chances.

On the basis of NIFT exam, candidates can secure admission in courses such as  Bachelor of Design (BDes), Bachelor of Fashion Technology (BFTech), Master of Design (MDes), Master of Fashion Management (MFM) and Master of Fashion Technology (MFTech).

NIFT entrance exam pattern is three tiered in its format for BDes and MDes course admissions. As part of the NIFT entrance exam 2019 candidates need to first appear for Creative Ability Test (CAT) which is followed by a General Ability Test (GAT). The final admission round for BDes course is a Situation Test and that for MDes is GD/PI round. On the other hand, for BFTech course admissions candidates need to appear for GAT only whereas for MFTech and MFM programmes candidates need to appear for GAT and GD/PI admission round.
