Thanks for asking, Just join the NITs. Do not give JEE Advance exam. You will surely get the NIT at these marks. Check the cutoffs by different institutes here.

basically, the two papers have many things in common so yes you are right the preparation if NATA will compensate for the preparation for the jee main paper 2. they do share the same syllabus Jee main is conducted in pen and paper mode only NATA enables you for admission

Great to hear that you are getting more than 270 but rank varies according to your category.But At such marks, you will succeed to get low IIT with a great branch if you are of general category.

If you get a good rank in JEE Main paper II you can take admission in NITs. 

If you want to take admission in IITs then you have to appear for JEE Main paper 1 then you have to qualify JEE Advanced exam to appear for AAT exam for architecture.
