Yes my college have all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments. In our college there are smart classes with good lighting and sitting areas are laboratories are filled with important equipment. The best part I feel in my college is the library it is beautiful with all the important books and notebook required for us with important question papers. The sports centre is very well developed with proper ground and basketball court. We don't have hostel but in that area there are many PG. And yes all of them how well maintained. And the living space are very very good and food is totally hygiene.

I am studying b.com honours in finance and accounting with research. In this course the teachers are teaching absolutely perfect their teaching skills are amazing. The teachers are more conceptual and more interactive with the students. Yes my curriculum is updated and enclave all the reason development in the field and yes it makes good job.

In a college the placement is pretty good not that high and not that low it is a nice placement college. There are 40 - 45% students who get every year placement I am with that the highest salary is 1 lakh per month. The average salary I would say 60000 to 70000. Yes it was easy and pleasant yes my college very supported.

Campus life was very interesting. I am in many activities rather than studies also. Like dance, sports, singing an etc. in our college there were many fests and concert of celebrities. Serampore college was one of the heritage in West Bengal. All building was built in 18th century. So we had heritage garden, old traditional library, ancient laboratory and canteen. A small playground is also in our campus. Many old books are available in this ancient library

The Basic eligibility criteria of our college admission was 60% of PCM marks and minimum 75% of maths(for B.Sc Mathematics). Mathematics Honours syllabus is quite tough. Dicrit, applied mathematics were there in our syllabus. The professors were to knowledgeable and helpful

Placement was really very moderate after completing Graduation. Some of our batchmates about 30-40% got job in small coaching centres after graduation. But Real scenario was quite tough. Remaining students like me completed Post graduation to get a safe job as school teacher or professor.

In our time(batch of 2018) IMU kolkata was the best campus of marine engineering M.Tech. In our generation, we experienced good hostel facility, large playground, basketball court, mechanical and marine workshop. As a M.Tech student I got a chance to research in marine workshop in my final year.

Academic of IMU kolkata was always very good. Most of faculty members were passouts of our college. So they taught us with their practical experience. Admission criteria of our college was through IMU CET exam for M.Tech.Our syllabus contained marine related subject, naval architecture & ship structure and some research about machinery in second year of M.Tech.

Placement was very good in our time. In our batch almost 80% got placement after completing post graduation. Mainly foreign and Indian shipping companies recruited us for their research and desk job or shore job. Basically our work was basically desk job in zonal office of all types of shipping companies.
