The computer labs are updated with the latest systems and software, and the campus has good internet connectivity. Classrooms are clean, spacious, and well-equipped with digital facilities. No , our college doesn't have all the facilities and equipments,. There are lacking so many facilities in fields of agronomy, soil science and others which include lab and field equipments and implements. Regarding other facilities in terms of mess and food services, also lacking
I have done bsc agriculture hons from this college. At present I am persuing masters from here , academically it is good , faculty is nice and teachers are trained. Overall good but some facilities lacking which is creating problem for students in there research work.
Placements are lacking here . This college is producing agriculture graduates every year in cents but placements are completely lacking here which has created a huge mess and depressions among students.
The campus as per natural wise it is good , scenic and adventurous, good in academic and social category side but some worst things are attention towards cultural programs and other matters , more categorically hostel side is worst .Yearly it costs almost 1 lakh including hostel charges and all other charges ,No , as placement
campus as per natural wise it is good , scenic and adventurous, good in academic and social category.Placements are lacking here . This college is producing agriculture graduates every year in cents the campus is good overall, I recommend students to come here , as this college is good academically and high nirf rating and research and good point is exposure and students are good here and teacher's also , buildings field works and labs. Hostel for 1st year students is brilliant with all the furniture. A mess, which is handled by the students residing in the hostel, and the mess bill is separate on a monthly basis. The bill is divided among all the students. Done. There are 3 hostels for boys and 3 for girls.
Faculty are, on average, some are great, but you have your own reliance on your studies. Exams are, as usual, 2 mid-semester and then end-sem. Semester exams are not that difficult, at a median phase, but checking is strict, the minimum passing is 33%.
Here I am a CSE (Aids) student, the percentage of placement is above 80%. Average package is 4-5 LPA. Highest package is 10 to 15 LPA in my branch. Companies that are visiting for on-campus drives are Cognizant, Yash Technology, Code Technology, and Maventic.
WiFi facility is not available for the students. It is only provided in the labs. The classrooms are very spacious and convenient for studying. For any health problems, we have a medical or restroom facility, where all types of medicines are available for us. The library has all kinds of books. Our curriculum textbooks are also available for every semester Every student can borrow up to four books. We have space for sports and games in our college. Sports competition is organized every semester. One period is allocated for sports in a week.
My experience with the faculty was extraordinary. Every faculty member in the college is free to explain the concepts to the students anytime. They even spend some time in the evening for training us regarding subjects or for placements. Every faculty member is qualified enough to teach us. For clear understanding, they take us to the labs and help us wth the experiments. For mechanical students, there were many industrial tours to the rail wagon, coffee industry etc.
There are very few opportunities for the mechanical students in our college. Our seniors also had the same kind of experience. But compared to our seniors, we have better opportunities because of the improvement in placements has occurred. My package is 2.2LPA. DQ Entertainment, Zoom car, Artech, Eos etc. are the companies that recruited the students.
The institute has tie-ups and corporate connect sessions that give us a lot of exposure. A wide range of reputed companies from finance, consulting, IT services, BFSI, retail management, and analytics sectors come to the campus for MBA recruitment. The major recruiters such as Deloitte, Wipro, Mphasis, Axis Bank, HDFC Life, and Tata Capital, among others, are some of the leading companies that visit the campus.
The infrastructure of the Commerce department is decent and suitable for academic studies. Classrooms are maintained properly, the library has good basic book collections related to commerce, accounting, business and laws. The university organizes seminars, guest lectures and academic workshops occasionally for student development.
Faculty members here are knowledgeable in their subjects and guide us in the right direction academically. Many of them have research involvement and keep us motivated to focus on conceptual clarity. They teach us not only what is in the syllabus but also relate topics with real market and economic scenarios.
Coming to the infrastructure for the course, basically, I'm from a computer science and engineering stream background, so it was excellent subjects, and Wi-Fi is not there, but classrooms and libraries are excellent, and we can go at any time to take books in the library, and we can read there with permission.
Yes, obviously, faculty, curriculum, and exams are really good. Teachers are very helpful towards students, and they keep us exams to check our compatibility, and they help students by clearing doubts. Semester exams are not much harder when compared to JNTUH, like we read in the guidelines. If we get good marks, if not, we will fail, and the pass percentage is 40/100.
The average students have been placed in non-IT roles like BPO and BDA due to more layoffs and the recession in the country. More than 1000+ students are placed in the college, and top companies like Virtusa, IBM, EPAM,etc. offer INR 9 LPA, and DBS offers INR 8 LPA.
The infrastructure was very good. Our campus had good environment. Classrooms were well-maintained. Laboratories were decent. Hostel was great. The security facility was good in the girls' hostel. The food quality was decent. Sports were conducted in this college.
Faculty: Faculty members were friendly. They were helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams were conducted strictly. Sometimes teachers also give live examples for better understanding. The exams were conducted after every 6 months. The pass percentage was 50%.
Almost 77% of students got placed in this course. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary offered was Rs 10,000 per month. Top recruiting company was L&T. Around 60% of students got internships in this course. Top roles offered were AutoCAD engineer, site engineer, etc.
The college is doing better in terms of infrastructure. Atleast its is getting better than what it was when i got in this college. They are now putting in money and auditorium is under construction, ac’s are now installed in all the classrooms. Playground is huge and 3-4 huge lawns are here too.
The teachers are supportive and willing to help if you have a genuine problem. The syllabus is well structured and follows DU’s guidelines and the NEP model. There are regular projects abd presentations that make the learning more practical.
The placement cell is quite active in case of getting good internships but as for the placements not very big companies hire here. The placement cell helps with resume building and interview preparation.
K. J. Somaiya College of Arts, Commerce and Science has a well-planned and spacious campus compared to many other Mumbai colleges. The classrooms are generally clean, well-maintained, and equipped with projectors.
The academic environment at K. J. Somaiya College of Arts, Commerce & Science (KJSAC) in Mumbai is characterised by a blend of strong faculty engagement, evolving curriculum, and decent industry-connect through placements and internships.
the college does facilitate placement opportunities (especially if you are proactive, choosing the right stream and department), but the outcomes are notably uneven the best results tend to come from top-performing students and well-connected departments, while average students might face a more modest placement landscape.
All the classrooms of the institute are very well arranged. Wi-Fi connection has been provided for all the students for better research during lectures. Everything is well maintained. Projectors are used for teaching for better understanding.
I’m studying BDes in interior designing because of my constant interest in interiors. The faulty here is veryy excellent. Every lecture is highly knowledgeable. The curriculum is up to date according to me.
As this is the first year of my college i have a little less information about this topic. But as much as I’ve heard abt it they’ve great placements and internship opportunities. The college seems very supportive related to this topic
Our Thane campus is small as such now but it is functionable. The location of the college is very safe. Yes. It can handle all types of emergencies that may occur. Teachers and staff here are very supportive in every way possible
I would just like to suggest this college to everyone who wants to learn interior because of the amazing faculty and opportunities that they have to offer the students.
GITAM School of Technology offers modern infrastructure with smart classrooms, well-equipped labs, good hostels, and sports facilities. However, hostel food and fees could be improved.overall it is OK
GITAM School of Technology has a strong academic curriculum, experienced faculty, and industry-oriented programs, but teaching quality varies by department and workload can be quite high.No spoon feeding.
GITAM School of Technology offers decent placements with top recruiters like TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Average packages range from 4–6 LPA, with higher offers in CSE. Placement support is good, but results depend on student performance.
