Each department has its own specialized labs, like CSE, ECE, AIML, etc. High-speed Wi-Fi is available across the classroom, hostels, libraries, and buildings. Library has seating for around 450 students at a time, and also two AC reading halls for quiet study. There are 5 boys and 4 girls' hostels furnished with tables, chairs, cots, book racks, and many more.

The college teachers present there are very helpful. Qualified and knowledgeable with a higher degree in their respective branch. The teachers present there provide a high level of education and knowledge regarding the course. The course curriculum is very much relevant to the IT industry as well as all the departments, which we all need for future growth.

Total of 1097 students were placed in the year 2025 in our college. The highest package was 30.88 LPA. The lowest was around 3 to 4 LPA, and the average package was around 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Cisco, Visa, JPMorgan, and many more. More than 500+ students got internships from our college in the same companies. Top roles were software developers, data analysts, QA testers, and many more.

Good infrastructure and daily cleaning facilities are also available. There are many trees, but the roads inside the campus are not so good. Road should be repaired, Xerox facilities and one tea shop, and one canteen are also available on campus. Hostel facilities are also provided, which are free.

Teachers are very strict and respond. Teachers help students only if students ask for help. Otherwise, there is no special importance for students from teachers. Teachers are remaining alone, as far as I know. I was told that many teachers are not likely to teach. They teach only for their salary ( only some teachers)

All college departments are there. Placement tests are also held, and project works are also given by teachers. An employment program is also held. As per teachers who teach English, students should speak good English, as speaking skills are required, and we have to attract others.

In SIT, we have almost 60% placements. Our training and placement department will bring all the possible companies. While coming to our branch, Electronics and Communication, we have above 70% of packages. The highest package is as high as 14 LPA. Our branch package is 10 LPA.

In our college we have a computer lab, electronic lab, electrical lab, english lab etc. On 6th semester the college going to trained us to face the recruiters. The quality of food is average. We have well-equipped labs. Our classrooms are good enough and spacious. The best lab in this college was physics lab and then various mechanical labs.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are very good and experienced in their respective departments. They are friendly, and I personally used to clear my doubts after class hours. I never heard a no from them if I want to clear any doubt. Our HOD Mr A K Sahoo is very good and supportive. He guides the students well.

It is a very good college in providing placements when compared to other colleges in Odisha. The college offers a lot of opportunities for the candidates to excel in their career. The main demerit which I found was it conducts pool campus drives because of which the placement numbers are declining for our college. If you have talent, then no one can take your job. This is what I learnt from this college.
