The physical space of the college is definitely where I feel the management truly shines. I am so thankful that the classrooms are all air conditioned, allowing me to concentrate fully on my lessons. The Journalism and Mass Communication department's dedicated media laboratory provides good computing equipment for production work. The library is an excellent resource for quiet study, and the entire campus is kept exceptionally clean, promoting a comfortable learning environment. I genuinely rate this aspect five stars.
The core strength of the Journalism course lies with the faculty. I have experienced that the professors are brilliant, passionate, and deeply knowledgeable, ensuring a strong foundation in media theory and history. However, because we are affiliated with the university, the syllabus often lags behind the rapid changes in the digital journalism industry. I constantly feel the need to pursue external certifications because I know the curriculum does not fully cover every current skill I will require for my career after graduation.
Placement statistics, especially for Journalism and Mass Communication students, are a major source of frustration. I believe that the placement cell’s primary focus is almost entirely on securing roles for the Commerce stream. When media or public relations companies do visit, the packages offered are quite modest, often hovering around the three lakh per annum mark, which is disappointing for specialized study.
Despite having numerous societies and fun external events like the annual fest, the campus life itself is surprisingly toxic. The all-girls environment unfortunately fosters an atmosphere of intense scrutiny and constant judgment. The daily internal social environment is often emotionally draining and overly competitive, making it difficult to form genuine, lasting friendships.
Wi-Fi is provided on every floor and department. Labs are excellent. The classrooms are very spacious and comfortable. Hostel food is good and can be developed. The canteen has only few items. Students are encouraged to play sports and tournaments.
Faculty members of our college are qualified with PhDs and have good knowledge in the subject. They clear doubts without any hesitation. The course is curriculum relevant. The college is affiliated with JNTUH. The semester exams are quite tough and there is a pass percentage of 60%.
About 70% of students are placed. The highest salary package offered is 10 LPA. The recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, etc. About 60% of students got internships from several companies. System engineer is the top role offered in electronics and communication engineerin
Labs, Wi-Fi, classrooms, restroom, drinking water, branches, and good teaching staff are the facilities and infrastructure available for our course or department. Hostel rooms are better but the hostel is very poor and dirty. The daily same food is available and is best to eat fast food afternoon. Medical facilities are also available for colds and fevers. Sports are better than other colleges like cricket, Kabaddi, volleyball, basketball, and football to play.
Experienced and average teachers are available. they say their best to study but some students don't listen to the class. Many students suffer in1st year but later 60% of students pass. Faculty are teaching their best and each and every student understands the topic. Teachers are helpful, qualified, Knowledgeable and their teaching quality is awesome. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not typical if we study regularly.
Around 70% of students got placement. The highest salary package is 10 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Amazon, and Wipro. Around 60% of students got internship from our course. Students good at studies easily get placement and average ones try best to get placement.
The campus is well maintained with all the facilities needed for a particular student like ground, canteen and students sitting place. The classroom capacity is really good in size. Laboratories and computer labs are all working properly with all the equipments.
The professors and faculty members are really good and are supportive with the students. They help in academics and also participate in all kind of seminars, competitions judging and also helping the students to grow competitive spirit among them.
The placements of the college is really good as it has a very good NIRF ranking among all the nits. The training and placement cell of our college has connections with many top companies like Google, Amazon, oracle etc.
The infrastructure of our college is excellent with a big campus for the students to explore. Hostel facilities and canteen is really good but the food should be more hygienically made with care. It also has well designed gyms, sports area, libraries and laboratories.
The professors do advance research in their subjects and are well known for their works. They conduct technical chapters like IEEE etc for gaining leadership qualities, innovative ideas among the students.
The placement records of the college is highest this year with 11k students placed with 868 companies visited this year like PayPal, JPMorgan, Cisco, Microsoft etc. 10LPA for this year among 3563 for super dream offers and 6LPA among 3499 for dream offers.
1. Yes, my college have necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. 2. College facilities are incredibly important, and my college have it. 3. Yes, clean living environment, and hygienic food is available.

Beautiful placement records. Google? Microsoft? TCS? PSU Sectors? ISRO? and what not? KGECIANS are everywhere. So come and see about everything. I would say it will be valuable. You can be an irreplaceable engineer of no matter what.
1. Less academic pressure 2. Nature friendly campus 3. Strong alumni family 4. Great placement packages 5. Great faculties

The campus spans 76 acres, with greenery, ponds, and gardens providing a calm and eco-friendly environment . College has several buldings. AAB is newly constructed. Most of the labs has sufficient Instruments. Few labs need renovation but that labs are managable if you have a laptop. Hostels are considered clean, affordable, and safe for students from different economic backgrounds. Campus life is vibrant, with around 14–15 active clubs such as Riyaaz (Music), Elysium (Dance), SAC (Automobile Club), Robotics Society (robotics club), Dev Community, KeyGEn Coders (Coding Club), GDGOC etc. KGEC organizes major annual events, the most famous being "Espektro", recognized as West Bengal’s second-largest collegiate fest. The atmosphere during fests, hackathons, and robotics events adds greatly to student engage
The CSE department at KGEC is one of the most preferred in the college, known for knowledgeable and cooperative faculty members. Professors often provide strong conceptual clarity and are approachable for doubts and guidance. The curriculum includes foundational physics and chemistry in the first year before progressing to core CSE subjects in the second year. Many students also take help from YouTube channels and GeeksforGeeks to deepen understanding.
Placements in KGEC, especially for CSE, have shown strong growth. The highest package has reached 92 LPA (Avalanche blockchain platform), while the average ranges between 5 4–7 LPA across departments. The placement cell is active in arranging training sessions and communication workshops.Major recruiters include TCS (Ninja, Digital, Prime), Infosys, Cognizant with around 70–80% students securing internships during their studies. But most of the success stories are off-campus. One of our senior got AIR 5 in GATE(ME). Also there are more gate holders and students who clack jobs of CTC more than 10 LPA. One of Alumni of CSE got offer from Amazon and Microsoft both.

The college infrastructure is very good. It is one of the best universities having good infrastructure. Labs are well-equipped with quality materials and instruments. Classrooms have a decent environment. New hostels are being constructed every year.
Teachers are somewhat helpful. But they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good, but they have to improve. The course curriculum is relevant, but it doesn’t fully make students industry-ready. They need to prepare on their own. Semester exams are not very difficult. With preparation, they can be written easily.
The college Around 80% of students get placed in my course. The highest package offered is 44 LPA. The lowest is 4 LPA. PayPal, Infosys, Accenture, and Amazon are some of the top recruiting companies at our university.
The collage facility is very good. The academic block is beautiful, consisting of 4 lecture theatres and a lot of classrooms. Some labs are also present. A big canteen includes a kitchen and a Nescafe shop. There is also a big auditorium in the basement. There is a football and cricket ground with floodlights. Other sports facilities are also available. Hostels of the new block are very good with fully furnished rooms and 2 common washrooms on each floor. The campus is beautiful and green.
Teachers are well qualified. They have doctorates and master's degrees in several fields. The exams are conducted every month (quizzes, mid-semester, and final exams). Labs are conducted weekly and have evaluative components also. Semester exams are very tough and the average is very low. The pass percentage varies but is usually 25% of the total marks of the subject.
More than 80% of students got placed. A lot of companies recruit students, including Microsoft, Google, Rubric, Dell, Deloitte, Oracle, Adobe, Nestle, etc. Top roles include software developer, analyst, app developer, product management, etc. The median package is 17 LPA. Core branches like electrical have an average salary of 18 LPA - 20 LPA.
There are too many facilities for study and sports. The quality of the hostel and food is pretty good and tastes good. The rules are general, and freedom is given. Canteens and medical facilities have good facilities. They react whenever needed
The collage provides highly talented and highly qualified lecturers from NITs and IITs. Highly experienced, qualified standards teachers teach us. It makes students definitely industry-ready for recruitment. The pass percentage is pretty good, around 86%.
The college most of the people are getting placed. The placement rate is good. The highest package is 44 LPA, and the average package is around 7-8 LPA. Top companies recruit our university students. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc, come to our college to recruit students.
This college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipments with proper maintanence. We have proper classrooms for each branches and each year separately with proper fans, smart board and projector. We have well enough labs with AC, Fans, computers but computers are some are not working and some are old. We have wifi connection and Ethernet also. College building, classes and toilets are clean on daily basis but the problem is sometimes water are not available.
I am studying computer science and engineering, because I love the computer world and tech industry. The teaching quality is not worst or not top, but its good. Some professor are very helpful and their teachings are good. Problem is many professors used bengali language mostly that sometimes make me hard to understand. Academic style is old theoretical not enough practical experience. I expect modern and practical basis education is important to be a career ready.
As I got to know, in this college placement are not good. In the college website there are data of 2024, 2021 that shows less placements with less package. Some small companies were visiting and the opportunity were very low for the students. From my branches only few single digit students got the placements but lower package. College is supportive but opportunities are limited.
College campus is average. We have drone lab and AICTE Idea lab with all the facilities and equipments. We have a good library with enough books thats enough for every students. We have some average events like techfest, freshers, annual day and some state fest. Some seniors and professors are really supportive and helpful, but the academic staffs were too rude and not friendly. Our campus location js really good enough, under 1km we have police station, hospital and under 2km we have international airport. Its really safe location although its near bangladesh border. We have connected roads with all time transport services.
A good goverment tier 3 college. Expect less, develop yourself by self improvements.
Infrastructure of Dasaratha Deb Memorial college is good but very simple there is nothing fancy but the classrooms are very good and clean. some building are so old that the wall plaster is coming off and the paint has faded or peeled in many areas but still the class are reusable and teachers do their best to keep things going smoothly despite the condition.
Not too advanced teaching quality but okay it is manageable. the teachers here are also good and kind they try to make sure that everyone understands the lessons no matter which medium you're from. both English and Bengali medium students can study comfortably here because both languages are accepted.
Placement is one thing that Dasaratha Deb Memorial College can't much offer support. There is no proper placement cell or campus recruitment system. it is not a professional college it is just for B.A or B.Sc and you will need to find job opportunities on your own after completing your course.
campus life at Dasaratha Deb Memorial college is simple and fun. students are very friendly and easy to get along with. teachers are also very good, they will support you, they will answer your questions and guide you if you ask. there is no cafes or gym nearby but still there's shops for snacks or stationery.
Average government college
from my point of view the infrastructure of Dasaratha Deb Memorial College is honestly not that great but still workable. The classrooms are simple with fans, lights, and blackboards, though not everything works perfectly.
academically, Dasaratha Deb Memorial College is decent. the teachers are nice also. some teachers take time to explain topic properly but some just focus on completing the syllabus. There is no extra academic like seminar or workshops.
Placement in Dasaratha Deb Memorial College is very poor. The teachers do guide you if you ask them about career paths or competitive exams but there is no placement program. it would be great if the college could bring some training sessions or career counselling programs.
Dasaratha Deb Memorial College is friendly and calm college. It's not a party type college, it is more peaceful place. you will find people helping each other out with notes or assignments. the college area is also safe for everyone and locals nearby are also very friendly.
peaceful, affordable, safe college
Great infrastructure with amazing labs, world class state of the art classrooms, good sporting facilities and great hostels and mess food. Well connected to the city with railway station and bus stand within walking distance from college campus
Great in terms of academics. College labs have all the facility required for conducting engineering both from an undergraduate level or from a research Point of View. Classrooms are well equipped and teachers are highly knowledgeable.
Placements are actually good with respect to the tier of college Thapar is. Lots of opportunities available throughout the year and placement cell is extremely generous with their rules and regulations.
College life is awesome. Lots of places to go to nearby. Its a big lush green campus with lots of free space available to roam and enjoy the college environment. Moreover it is well connected to Patiala city and Chandigarh as well.
Overall, I shall say its a great experience studying in Thapar. Its going to be absolutely good compared to other colleges in the same tier. Lots of opportunities available for people who can utilize it.
College is basic but good for a government college. The classrooms are simple but clean but the benches and fans need a bit of fixing. The campus is okay gives a forest vibes. No wifi facility so most of the time we have to use our own data.
academic quality is good not too bad. Most of the teachers are friendly and they try their best to teach us in a simple way. It is under Tripura University. Attendance rules are not too strict but if you wanna learn paying attention in class then you should come.
to be honest placement opportunities here are very less since it is a government degree college not a professional college there is not campus recruitment like you would see in engineering or management colleges placement wise the college does not offer much support.
campus life is okay, not too crowded like big city colleges. students are very friendly and you easily get to know everyone since it's not a huge campus. the location is safe and the people around area are nice and helpful so you never feel uncomfortable here.
homely and peaceful college
The colleges located in a very primary location in Dhanbad and the infrastructure is very nice and the campus is a closed campus. There are different hostels such as diamond hostel and many more. The college is multiple grounds and special facility for person interaction additionally there is provision for gym and swimming pool as well and many more sports.
The professors are very good I can't came across many good process professor during my Mtech in the college. I also published research paper with the help of my professors the course curriculum is very well designed and the colleges strict about attendance.
The placement scenario for MTech is good and companies like Bajaj automobile Tata Steel and many good companies visit the campus companies from multiple domain such as Steel industrial automobiles and construction visit the campus.
The campus life is very rich with multiple events being organised time to time. It organises sports festival as well as cultural festival known as conceito. Other than that the library is a very good in the college.
The college has good infrastructure equipped with modern technology and video display facilities, creating a conducive environment for learning and presentations. The college provides high-speed Wi-Fi connectivity across the campus, ensuring students have seamless access to online resources. The library is well-stocked with a wide range of books, journals, and digital materials that support both academic and research needs. The mess is large and spacious, offering a comfortable dining experience with amazing, hygienic, and varied food options.
The quality of education in the college is excellent, with experienced and supportive faculty who ensure conceptual clarity and practical understanding. The curriculum is designed to make students industry-ready, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required for future careers or higher studies like an MBA.

Banasthali Vidyapeeth, a renowned women's residential university in Rajasthan, is well known for its vast and beautiful campus spread over approximately 850 acres. The infrastructure is one of its major strengths, offering a blend of academic, residential and extracurricular facilities. The university has spacious academic buildings, smart classrooms, and well-equipped laboratories for various disciplines. Its central and departmental libraries house thousands of books and journals, providing strong academic support.
The academics of Banasthali Vidyapeeth are known for being structured, disciplined and holistic, following the university's philosophy of 'Panchmukhi Shiksha' which focuses on 5 aspects of education - physical, practical, moral, aesthetic and intellectual development. The academic environment is designed to promote overall growth rather than just classroom learning. The university offers a wide range of programs in arts, science, commerce, management, technology, law, design and many undergraduate and postgraduate programs.
For engineering courses, the placement rate is good but for non-engineering courses the median salary and placement are significantly lower. If you are joining courses except engineering, then you have to temper expectations because the median salary will be lower.
Great infrastructure. State of the art facilities, labs and state of the art classrooms. Moreover the sports facilities here are amazing. Campus has all the facilities like grocery stores, health centre all available at their disposal
Teachers are great. They are masters of their subject and take great care in clearing the doubts and helping students with concepts. All the important subjects are covered here in great depths. Extremely satisfied.
Placement are decent to good at best. Since its a mid tier college so expectations must be nominal at best. Packages here are decent and roles offered are actually good and inline with industry. No problem getting placements
Campus life is amazing. Sports facilities here are wow. All types of sports are played here. Lots of clubs and cultural activities going on throughout the year. Its a happening place with lots of things to indulge into.
Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam is a good place to pursue MBA. It will give you the comfort of being and studying in an IIM unlike other baby IIMs. This college can be worth a lot of pennies if people utilize the opportunities provided to them.
Jiaganj College of Engineering & Technology has a great infrastructure with well-equipped labs, a library, separate hostels for boys/girls, sports facilities, a modern IT setup, and a cafeteria. The lab equipment are old but in working condition.
Jiaganj College of Engineering and Technology (JCET), Murshidabad offers AICTE-approved Diploma in Engineering courses. According to me it has a good infrastructure (labs, hostels, sports) and helpful faculty.
Placement success at Jiaganj College of Engineering & Technology varies significantly by branch. CSE/IT generally see better opportunities with recruiters like TCS & Capgemini. Core branch placement is more challenging.
