College Infrastructure
I’m studying B.Tech IT at KRCE. The college has a clean and calm environment. The classrooms are okay — they have projectors and whiteboards. Our department labs are well maintained and have the software we need for coding, networking, and database labs. The library has both physical and digital resources. You can find e-books, past papers, and journals. Wi-Fi is available, though not strong everywhere. The canteen is decent, and the college provides good transportation facilities to nearby areas.
Academics
Academically, KRCE is very structured. The syllabus is followed properly and internal tests are taken seriously. The IT department faculty are friendly and supportive. If you attend classes regularly and ask questions, they’ll help you for sure. Many of them also guide us with certifications and coding platforms. Mini projects and lab exams are done with proper support from staff.
Placements
Placement training starts in third year. We had sessions on aptitude, group discussion, technical rounds, and communication. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and some local startups visit regularly. If you’re consistent, you can definitely get placed. The department also supports us in off-campus drives.
Campus Life
Campus life is quiet. There are a few events like tech symposiums and cultural fests every year. It’s not a very outgoing college, but perfect if you want to stay focused on your career.
