College Infrastructure
Campus infrastructure is well-developed, although some minor improvements are still to be done. Some of the furniture in the classrooms is old, and Wi-Fi connectivity in certain blocks can be improved. otherwise all things are perfectly managed.
Academics
There are teachers who are very learned and adhere to case-study teaching, and others who teach from PowerPoint and general internet content. The syllabus is too academic at times, yet while teaching management basics, practical exposure and industry orientation are the need of the hour.
Placements
The placement situation this year was very satisfactory, with approximately 85–90% of the students being placed through campus placements. the maximum reached 12.5 LPA. The best of the best companies that came on campus include Dabur, BYJU'S, Deloitte, PwC, HCL, and IndiaMART.

There is Wi-Fi coverage in all the corners of the campus, which is quite functional. Mess food is disgusting, with little variation, but clean and good enough. The department of sports is tidy and there is a dedicated trainer who encourages students to perform even better. There is a very large playground on the campus

The course itself is updated and afford to give the kind of industry-oriented module-based course framework that the present job market demands. Self-study and web-based teaching materials are extra things to enhance skills.
Placements
There are around 35–40% students from my batch who are already placed with organizations such as Genpact, Tech Mahindra, HDFC Securities, and Axis Capital. Placement training is taken care of by the college in the initial stages itself, like mock interviews and aptitude classes, which gets us accustomed to the actual process.

The faculty at GCET is one of the best and supportive. A majority of the professors are Ph.D. degree holders or industry professionals, particularly in the areas of marketing analytics, corporate finance, and strategic management.

At GCET, MBA students are placed annually in approximately 80% of its candidates. The minimum package is about 3.2 LPA, whereas the average ranges from 4 to 5.5 LPA. In some exceptional cases, students have been offered packages of 10-12 LPA.

UIT RGPV provides a modest M.Tech specialization in Digital Communication and Automobile Engineering. Their facilities are fair, with the communication labs and automotive workshops functioning, though they may not have the most up-to-date tools. For academic projects, basic equipment is supplied

In the field of Digital Communications, students learn wireless networks, optical communication, and the fundamentals of VLSI. The Automobile stream includes foundational subjects like internal combustion engines, vehicle dynamics, and CAD.

With regards to placements, outcomes are modest. Digital Communication graduates are often employed in IT/software positions due to a lack of core electronics openings. Automobile graduates teach or move to the mechanical or automotive industries through off-campus opportunities.

Information Technology and Computer Science have the best placements. Average packages are between 5-8 LPA, with some product-based companies paying even higher. TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, and some startups are regular recruiters, and students from other branches get IT or core engineering jobs through off-campus recruitment drives.

I'm a Political Science student. From my experience, the professor of our department are amazing, they focus on modern approach for teaching, from tutorial classes for one on one interaction to mentor-mentee program, allowing students to share doubts with hesitation.

College has an active placement cell (Vriddhi) and conducts annual career fair along with updating students related internship drives. But like it happens in other colleges, most companies prefer students from CS background or Commerce/ Economics.

Facilities and infrastructure are decent. We have a great cafeteria, but other things are not good. Some fans don’t work, and there is no AC in regular classrooms. I don’t stay in the hostel, so I don’t know much, but my friends who stayed there said the food was awful, the warden was awful, and the medical facilities and everything else are bad.

2 stars is just for teachers. Some teachers are amazing, but CSE department teachers are extremely bad. They don’t care about students and think we are some roots. Teaching quality is bad, although some CSE teachers are amazing. No, certainly no course will make you ready for the industry. The semester exams are extremely difficult, people study from one book, but the complete questions come from somewhere else.
Placements
Our college claims to give 100% placements, but upon joining we found out that only 40% get placed. Our college’s highest package was 72 LPA, the average package is 12 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Accenture and TCS. From our college, in a class of 400 students, only 9 students were taken for internships. My top roles are data analyst, software engineer, C developer, and java developer.

Wi-Fi is available throughout the college. Library has a lot of amazing study books but only study books no other sorts of books are available. I don't know much about the hotel experience but what I have heard from my friends who stay at hostel people are extremely strict and don't allow the slightest of fun things.

Most teachers are amazing they look after you and try to teach you everyone is highly qualified. Course curriculum is relevant as they are producing extremely well-known engineers around the world. College exams are extremely difficult with the college pouring in a huge amount of pressure. Pass percentage being 50%.
Placements
Almost 80% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package is 72 LPA, and the lowest is 2 LPA. The average salary package is 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Wipro, Accenture, and Cognizant. A lot of students got internships I also received an internship from Malware. Top roles offered are C developer, python developer, and java developer.

I'm a student at C V Raman Global University Bhubaneswar, and overall, it's been a solid experience. The University is NAAC A-accreated and ranks decently in NIRF engineering rank is 94 in 2024.the infrastructure is modern and well-equipped,and the academic environment is supportive. Placements are improving ,with good companies visiting. I'd rate it arround 7.5/10 Great for growth if you stay proactive and make the most of the resources also faculties are helpful and approachable, always ready

The classrooms are Fine, with a few classrooms equipped with projectors but no latest equipment. The computer lab is mediocre, and it's utilized primarily for learning basic software and forms filling. The library is also quite nice, and there are enough academic and competitive exam books.

The teachers are polite and educated. The teaching process is straightforward, but sometimes Hindi and English languages are mixed with each other during lectures. Every instructor is polite and attempts to explain doubts, but industry exposure is bad. The course is easy to handle and job-oriented.

Only 30-40 % students get placement and the majority of the students in my batch wanted to study for government exams or higher studies like M.Com or MBA. Few students have found employment on their own initiative or off-campus placements.

The college didn't provide any placements at all if some interviewers come to take interviews it's just for part time works and for salesman like opportunities that doesn't match with our subjects .
