48 MonthsBachelor of Optometry (B.Optom) is a full-time three-year duration with one-year internship degree course and it is offered by SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Chennai.
Eligibility Criteria
- The Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years on or before 31st December of the year of admission to the Course .
- H.S.C or equivalent qualification with English, Physics,Chemistry, & Mathematics / Biology / Botany and Zoology.
- Qualifying Examinations and selection of students should have successfully completed H.S.C Examinations of any recognized board/ University of India or equivalent of 10 +2 Education in India or abroad with a Minimum aggregate of 60% in relevant subjects ( Physics,Chemistry, & Mathematics / Biology / Botany and Zoology.) provided the student has passed in each subject separately.
- Candidates who are Physically fit and Mentally sound to under go the academic course and does not suffer from any intellectual disability or contagious disease.
Admission Details
Admission is done through SRMJEEH (UG) Entrance examination, subject to fulfilling the requirement of minimum marks in the qualifying examination as well.
