scientist
Hello
Yes, sure you can join the ISRO having diploma degree in electrical. There are many posts available in ISRO for diploma holders in CSE like---
Technical Assistant
Library Assistant
Scientific Assistant
The no. of vacancies use to be very less. So it becomes a very tough competition.
But, I would suggest you to pursue B Tech ,if you want to apply for scientist---
Junior scientists
Senior scientists-After having 8-10 years experience
And they recruits first class students that is high profile students having board toppers as well as university Topper.
Hope it helps

There are multiple ways of working with ICMR or many other Top CSIR/DRDO Labs after Masters in Biotechnology. Usually they have vacancies once or twice a year for Both Permanent and Temporary Positions. You must keep track of them, besides having Latest GATE/CSIR-NET Score ready with you. Secondly, many Positions, require a PhD, you may perhaps pursue a PhD from some of the higher technical institutes in India, followed by a career in Research or Academia. Apart from this you have another way through AcSIR, where you pursue your MTech/PhD parallely working with CSIR Labs as Scientist.
Apart from this, you may also appear for the BARC OCES/DGFS Exam, in the Biosciences Discipline followed by a Career as Scientist/Officer in one of the Units under Bhabha Atomic Energy Corporation, Government of India and the Public Research Sector.
Hello student,
You can definitely pursue space scientist by being an aeronautical engineer. However, after your B.Tech you would have to do a masters or further PHD in this field of science to get a better understanding and chance of placements. Also, rather than pursuing aeronautical, I insist that you pursue Aerospace engineering in the top institutes of India to have high chances of better placements.
I hope this helps, All the Best!
Hello Vaibhav,
You have not mentioned your Category so I'm considering it as General Category and giving information based on it.
For your COMEDK Rank you have chances of getting B.Tech Computer Science Engineering branch in below mentioned Colleges based for second round based on previous year's Closing Ranks.
But cut-offs changes from year to year and depends on many factors like number of students appeared in the exam, number of seats available, category, difficulty level of the exam, etc.
Dr. Ambedkar Institute of Technology, Bangalore
Cambridge Institute of Technology, Bangalore
Bangalore College of Engineering and Technology, Bangalore
Dayananda Sagar Academy of Technology
& Management, Bangalore
To predict Colleges based on your COMEDK Rank go through below mentioned College Predictor Tool.

Dear Aspirant,
Hope you are doing well. It is great to hear that you are interested and aiming to become a Scientist. In order to get to the track, first of all you must find your true passion in science.
Science is a multidisciplinary course having different subjects’ combinations in class 12th. These combinations can be PCB ( Physics , Chemistry and Biology ), PCM (Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics) and PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and Biology).
So, there are a number of options included in the word "Science". Out of which you must narrow down and select the particular subject you want to bag. Having a good career in science, the student has a wide range of options to go ahead. It starts with bachelor’s degree ( B.Sc ), master’s degree ( M.Sc ) and then Ph.D. (Doctor of Philosophy) in a variety of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology, Computer Science , Microbiology, Biotechnology among others.
Since the science course can be pursued as UG, PG and PhD, the eligibility criteria are different for each category. Below are the criteria’s for UG and PG Science course –
For Undergraduate –
For Postgraduate –
There are a number of Entrance examinations for Science which can make you get a Government seat and also many scholarships for the same. After Master's by cracking CSIR/JRF or UGC NET/JRF, you may join any Government Institution as a Junior Research Fellow.
Steps for becoming a Scientist would be easier when start from today. All the very best for Bright Future.
