What is food technology - It is a 3 year undergraduation course which involves the study of chemistry, biology, home science in order to process, manufacture or preserve food.

Eligibility - 10 + 2 and physics, Chemistry and biology has compulsory subjects. Good academic marks ans usually admissions are merit basis or entrance exams.

Food Technology is the application of food science to the selection, preservation, processing, packaging, distribution, and use of safe, nutritious, and wholesome food.

Eligibility Criteria

you can opt to pursue a degree programme or BSC in food technology  undergraduate programme if you should clear Class 12 ^th in Science stream with subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, and Home Science and minimum qualifying marks as prescribed by a university/ college (usually 50% - 60%).
