As per your  marks you definitely have chances for getting CSE in NIT silchar.
Also, even you can get better NIT that NIT silchar , you can also try for them too.
Also, yeah it is a plus  point for you since you belong to home state NIT so you can get. A good branch in your home state college through home state quota.

Yes if you are in school you can definately get nit silicher at this marks.and home state quota is also beneficial as seat are reserved for it

But I will suggest you to prepare for IIT JEE advanced so that you can land up in good IIT

And the branch you want..
