if the gate score is 35 general category in computer science can i get iit Hyderabad or iit dharwad college?

Hello Dear,

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering is an examination that primarily tests the comprehensive understanding of various undergraduate subjects in engineering and science for admission into the Masters Program Sector Companies.  GATE cut off is the minimum marks that you need to score to qualify the exam.

Admission in IITs are based on GATE rank and not the number of marks out of 100 you achieved. To get admission in the IITs, you would require a rank under 500. In terms of marks your number must be 70+ in General category.
