IIT Dharwad Admission Process

Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad offers admission to B.Tech, M.Tech, MS and Ph.D programmes. Candidates applying for IIT Dharwad admission for B.Tech programme should appear for JEE Advanced, GATE examination for the M.Tech programme and for Ph.D. admissions candidates must fulfil the eligibility criteria. How can I apply for IIT Dharwad admissions 2024?

Candidates need to register for the entrance examination (according to the course they are applying for)

IIT Dharwad UG Admissions 2024

The institute offers four-year full-time B.Tech programmes for Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad UG admissions. IITDH B.Tech programme is offered in three specialisations: mechanical engineering, computer science and electrical engineering. For IIT Dharwad UG admissions, candidates need to appear for JEE Advanced followed by JoSAA counselling.

IIT Dharwad UG Admission Process

The first step in the IIT Dharwad UG admission process is that students need to meet the eligibility criteria as prescribed.
Fill out the online application form to appear for JEE Advanced for Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad admissions.
Eligible candidates must appear for JEE Advanced.
The result of JEE Advanced is released in an online mode on the official website.
Candidates must meet the JEE Advanced cutoff to participate in the counselling.
The counselling is conducted by the Joint Seat Allocation Authority(JoSAA). Candidates must register for counselling and select their preferred colleges and courses.
For IIT Dharwad admissions, candidates must choose IIT Dharwad as their preferred college.

IIT Dharwad JoSAA Counselling 2024

Joint Seat Allocation Authority released the round 1 of JoSAA 2024 seat allocation result on June 20, 2024. Selected candidates need to pay the seat allocation fees and submit the documents for verification. Candidates can visit the josaa.nic.in and fill in the JEE Main roll number and password for checking the seat allocation status.

IIT Dharwad PG Admissions 2024

The institute offers M.S. programmes for the Indian Institute of Technology Dharwad PG admissions. IIT Dharwad offers M.S. programmes in three specialisations: computer science and engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering. The JEE Advanced result 2024 have been released by the IIT Madras on June 9, 2024. Candidates can also download the JEE Advanced answer key 2024 which was released on June 2, 2024. JEE Advanced 2024 examination was held on May 26, 2024. To download the JEE Advanced result candidates must visit the jeeadv.ac.in and fill in the required details to download their score card. After qualifying the JEE Advanced 2024 candidates must apply and appear for the JoSAA counselling 2024.

Hello,
In CSE, roughly, 90% percent were placed with 8 LPA as average and 15 LPA as the highest package. Amazon, Adobe and Microsoft were the top recruiting companies. 80% students got internship.
The Karnataka Government has provided about 470 acres of land for the establishment of the permanent campus of IIT Dharwad, which is about 2-3 km away from the transit campus within the WALMI campus.

should o prefer artificial intelligence and data science in iit jodhpur or ece in iit dhanbad or cse in iit dharwad

IF you want to pursue btech in a old conventional branch then ece at iit dhanbad is best but if you have no problem in choosing new branches then iit jodhpur artificial intelligence is also good but i wont advice to take cse at iit dharwad as it is a new iit comparatively. Overall going by brand name and branch combined iit dhanbad ece might prove to be the best option.
