Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kashipur is a second-generation IIM. Established in 2011 the institute was mentored by IIM Lucknow. It started functioning in July 2011. As per NIRF 2022, IIM Kashipur has been ranked at 23rd in the management category. The institute is also accredited by Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB).
