But according to the rankings, NIT surathkal is better and the branch you are getting there is also great. If you want to get into purely computer and programming domain , i suggest you CSE at NIT calicut as Information Technology is not purely programming when compared to CSE.Life,placements and exposure in both the colleges will be great.
