ASTU Guwahati: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Assam Science and Technology University (ASTU) Guwahati is a technical state university that was established in 2011 by the Government of Assam under the Assam Science and Technology University Act 2009. The university offers various courses at diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral levels.  ASTU Guwahati courses are Diploma in Pharmacy, B.Sc, B.E / B.Tech, B.Arch, B.Pharma, B.Des, MBA, M.Arch, M.Sc, M.Tech, MCA and Ph.D. The ASTU Guwahati admission process is based on the merit of the candidates in the previous qualifying examinations. 

The Assam Science and Technology University  has also collaborated with various national and international institutions and organisations for academic and research purposes. Eligible candidates have to apply online through the ASTU Guwahati official website and pay the application fee. Some of the undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the university are offered based on the scores achieved by the candidates in the entrance examinations, such as NATA, Assam CEE, Assam JLEE, GPAT, Assam JMEE, CAT and GATE, followed by interviews. The shortlisted candidates must verify their documentation, pay the fees, and attend the counselling session.

The ASTU Guwahati facilities include a well-stocked central library with textbooks, references, periodicals, publications, e-journals and other digital resources, laboratories,  auditorium, IT infrastructure with high-speed internet connectivity, advanced computing facilities, digital libraries, and smart classrooms, canteen, and sports facilities.
