72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biotechnology program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University, Jammu.
Eligibility Criteria
The Candidate must have passed a Master's degree in the concerned subject or in a subject cognate to the one in which the candidate desires to pursue M. Phil. with at least 55% marks (50% marks for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates) or its equivalent grade 'B' in UGC 7-point scale, recognized by UGC.
