Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University Jammu organises placement drives for every academic year. To provide students with the best career opportunities, the BGSBU placement cell invites top recruiters from various industries for the campus selection programme. Not only placement drives but various seminars, guest lectures, and industrial visits are organised by the BGSBU training and placement cell. To prepare students for the hiring process of companies; this cell conducts group discussions, mock interviews, and personality development programmes.  Every year lots of students get hired by various companies for different job roles. Below is the in-depth detail regarding the placement procedure of the BGSBU campus. 

• The training and placement cell of the college invites various companies/recruiters for hiring.

• Recruiters provide the date of the placement drive.

• A list of the selected students based on their performance in the respective studies is released by the placement cell. 

• A pre-placement talk is organised where detailed information regarding the company and the various job roles are provided to the students.

• Shortlisted students need to appear and pass the written test followed by group discussion and some rounds of interviews(depending on the recruitment process of the company).

• Selected students will be allotted an offer letter.
