Central University of Jammu offers admissions to the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate diploma, postgraduate and Ph.D programmes. Meeting the eligibility criteria is the first step of the Central University of Jammu admission process. The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes have a common admission procedure. According to the Central University of Jammu admission criteria for the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate diploma and postgraduate programmes, candidates have to appear for CUCET. Candidates who qualify the entrance test and meet the cutoff can participate in the counselling of the university. It must be noted that candidates have to register separately for Central University of Jammu admission counselling. After that, seats will be allotted on the basis of merit. For CU Jammu admission to the Ph.D programme, candidates have to appear for CUCET and secure minimum 50% marks. However, UGC/NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/ GATE/M.Phil qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test. Candidates are selected on the basis of marks of the entrance test (70% weightage) and performance in the interview (30% weightage). After allotment of the seats, the last step is the submission of the documents and payment of fees.

The undergraduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the Central University of Jammu are diploma, B.Sc. (H) and M.Sc. integrated, B.A. and B.Ed. integrated, B.Voc., PG diploma, M.Sc., M.Tech, M.B.A, M.A. and M.Ed. The programmes are further offered in various specialisations.

Candidates have to first meet the eligibility criteria.
After that candidates have to appear for CUCET, conducted by central universities.
After the declaration of the result, a merit list and cutoff will be released for the qualifying candidates.
Qualified candidates need to register for counselling at the official website of the Central University of Jammu.
In the counselling, seats are allotted on the basis of merit scores of CUCET.
Finally, selected candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.
Ph.D is a six-year full-time programme offered by Central University of Jammu. The Ph.D programme is offered in the following areas: hindi, marketing management, environmental sciences, biotechnology, chemistry, business administration, computer science and information technology, education, human resource management, etc.

First, meet CU Jammu eligibility criteria.
Second, appear for CUCET.
Third, candidates have to secure minimum 50% marks in the entrance test (45% for SC/ST/OBC/PwD candidates).
UGC/NET/UGC-CSIR NET/SLET/ GATE/M.Phil qualified candidates are exempted from the entrance test.
For JRF qualified candidates, they shall be deemed to have scored 100% marks in the test, whereas, the NET/SLET/SET/M.Phil. qualified candidates shall be deemed to have scored marks equivalent to the marks scored by the topper of the written test.
Fourth, qualified candidates need to appear for an interview.
Fifth, candidates will be selected based on the scores of the entrance test (70% weightage) and interview (30% weightage).
Finally, to confirm Central University of Jammu admission, candidates have to submit the documents and pay the fees.
