Once you get habitual with the rules and regulations, you'll enjoy the real essence of this college. It has many ongoing activities inside the campus that make sure you utilize every moment here. It has a fun flying course for students of any course. Horse riding facility is also one of the known things. Life at this college is undoubtedly difficult, but once to know how to live here, this college assures that you'll definitely grow.

“University with a Difference”

Its the largest women university ! it has everything what a girl can learn! it is situated 72 kms from Jaipur in Rajasthan! It is based on the concept of five fold education which enables overall development of a student! Living on Campus I had been a boarder inside Banasthali campus, since the age of 11 (and a boarder in BBVP, Pilani for 4 years before that). The experience of staying on campus and sharing your lives with hundreds of people your own age, handling your own finances, problems and basically taking care of yourself without much parental support in itself is an experience unmatched by anything else. Staying on campus in Banasthali was a pleasant experience at that. The living standards were low, facade was absent, people were kind-hearted, caring and honest. The best part of staying on campus is that you have an opportunity to get involved in many extra-curricular activities. It's not a bed of roses, though. The four major problems that I personally faced are: 1. Uni-sex environment: for children, it may be okay, but for teenagers and youngsters, it's not healthy 2. A bit of an orthodox environment, which greatly supressed our ability to express ourselves 3. Wardens: in my personal experience, hostels were operated at the whim of the wardens. I have had wonderful wardens and awful wardens. Spending a year under an awful warden can ruin the entire experience for that year for you 4. Secluded environment - our world revolved around Banasthali and Banasthalites. We turned up very much alike. There was hardly any outside interaction and mingling. Again, it's not healthy University Education Then I opted to do my Graduation and Post Graduation from Banasthali itself (I had other better options but unavoidable circumstances sealed my fate). Education standards suddenly improved. While the medium of education in Banasthali school is Hindi, the medium of education (for many streams, including Science) in Banasthali University is English. The lecturers and professors were accomplished and very knowledgeable. We had all the perks of staying on campus, viz., getting involved in extra-curricular activities, being independent, etc. At the same time, we were getting the best of education. The only change I would have liked is the class size. Our class sizes were huge. For some courses more than one batches were combined and 'huge' became 'huge-r'. It was absolutely unacceptable at times. This situation continued throughout my 5.5 years of University education and I hated it with all my heart. Fee structure-The fee structure for the courses is pretty reasonable too, so much so that despite having financial troubles throughout the year, I could afford expenses for most of the courses I wanted to avail. Co-curricular activitoes- I would like to mention here that having studied in Banasthali, I learnt a few things which I would likely not be able to learn elsewhere - horse-riding, aviation, classical dances, classical instruments, craft, sewing, cooking, foreign languages, multiple sports, etc. This is not an institute that concentrates solely upon formal education and classroom studies.

Besides the campus being in the lap of nature, the infrastructure is very good. The hostel's facilities are good.As far as placement is concerned we have 100% placements for B.Tech CS,IT,EC and other branches. The college provides us training in various organisations in the 4th year, which I consider is most important for the students pursuing technical courses. The college life is happening with a lot of cultural activities and fests.
