48 MonthsBachelor of Science in Forestry Hons is a four-year duration full-time undergraduate course and it is offered by Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi.
College of Forestry offers four-year degree program cover courses of Silviculture & Agroforestry, Forest Biology & Tree Improvement, Forest Products & Utilization,
Natural Resource Management and Basic Sciences & HumanitiesThe students of the faculty are given physical training and they have a long tour in different forests areas of the country. They have fortnightly excursion to nearby forests in the state as per the course curriculum of the semester calendar for practical training. The integrated course of Rural Work Experience program (RWEP) is conducted in the final semester and students enroll for N.S.S.
A candidate must have passed the Intermediate/10+2 or its equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology for all undergraduate degree programs. However, the candidates with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics are also eligible for admission.
Admission is based on the Combined Competitive Entrance Examination conducted by I.C.A.R. V.C.I. at All India, level and 85% of the total seats are filled by Jharkhand Combined Competitive Entrance Examination Board, Ranchi.
