72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time Doctoral program and it is offered by the Birsa Agricultural University, Ranchi. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
- Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture/Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry/Forestry.
- Minimum Overall grade point Average (OGPA) 6.00/10.00 or 60% marks in aggregate or equivalent percentage of marks at Master' degree level. A candidate can apply for the Doctoral Programme only in the Major subject of study at Master's degree level.
Admission Details
The admission will be done through merit list, which will be prepared on the basis of Entrance test.
