Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra (DBRAU) was established in 1927 as Agra University. Later, in 1996 Agra University was renamed as DBRAU Agra. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra is popularly known as DBRAU Agra. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) as a ‘B++’ Grade university. The institution aims to provide education to students from every background. DBRAU Agra is located in the heart of Agra city of Uttar Pradesh state. Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra offers courses at the diploma, undergraduate, postgraduate, postgraduate diploma, PhD and  D Litt level. Different subjects in PhD programmes are offered by DBRAU Agra.  B.A., B.Com, B.B.A., B.Sc, B.C.A., B.E/B.Tech, B.F.A., B.Pharma, B.Lib.I.Sc, B.P.Ed and B.Voc courses are offered at the UG level. At the PG level, M.A., M.Com, M.B.A, M.Sc, M.C.A, M.F.A, M.Stat, M.Lib.I.Sc and M.S.W  courses are offered by DBRAU Agra. Different disciplines are offered in Ph.D programmes and D.Litt courses in Hindi and Sanskrit are also offered by DBRAU Agra. DBRAU Agra Course Details and Eligibility Criteria 

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Admission

DBRAU Agra campus offers admission in courses at UG and PG level. DBRAU Agra admission to the UG programme will be merit-based except for B.Tech, B.F.A., B.P.Ed, B.Lib.I.Sc and B.Pharma courses. At the PG level, entrance tests will be conducted for courses such as M.F.A., M.Sc, M.Com and M.Lib.I.Sc by Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra admission team. For the B.Tech course, students have to secure a rank in JEE Main and take part in the UPSEE counselling process. For M.B.A. and M.C.A courses, students have to give the UPSEE test.

Based on the requirements of the following course at the UG and PG level, students have to be present at DBRAU Agra for a personal interview, portfolio or audition conducted by the DBRAU Agra admission team. DBRAU Agra offers full-time courses to its students in all programmes.

DBRAU Agra UG Admission 2023 (Except for B.Tech, B.F.A., B.P.Ed, B.Lib.I.Sc and B.Pharma Courses)

• Based on the marks secured in 10+2, a provisional list of selected students will be prepared and uploaded on the DBRAU Agra admissions portal.

• Students have to visit DBRAU Agra and take part in the counselling process for admission.

• The admission will be offered to the student based on marks secured in 10+2, participation in the counselling process, document verification and fee payment for the desired course in the DBRAU Agra UG programme.

DBRAU Agra PG Admission 2203 (Except M.B.A. and M.C.A Courses)

• Students wishing to take admission in M.Com, M.Sc, M.F.A. and M.Lib.I.Sc courses have to appear for the entrance tests conducted by DBRAU Agra.

• Based on the marks secured in the undergraduate programme or entrance tests, a provisional list of selected students will be prepared and uploaded on the DBRAU Agra admissions portal.

• Students have to visit DBRAU Agra and appear for the selection process.

• The process includes a personal interview of the selected students conducted by the DBRAU Agra admission team. 

• For the MFA course, students have to appear for a portfolio evaluation followed by a personal interview conducted by DBRAU Agra. 

• The admission will be offered to the student based on marks secured in the undergraduate programme or entrance tests conducted by the DBRAU Agra admission team, performance in the personal interview, document verification and fee payment for the desired course in the DBRAU Agra PG programme.

Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra Scholarship

The DBRAU Agra scholarships are offered to deserving students and students who are in the need of financial assistance. Students can apply to various national and state-level scholarships through the DBRAU Agra administration. Scholarships such as minority, physically disabled scholarships can be availed through Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar University Agra administration.
