72 MonthsPh.D. programe in Hotel Management shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work, and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned offered by Dr DY Patil Dnyan Prasad University, Pune.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, Tourism Management, or a related field with at least 55% marks (50% for reserved categories) from a recognized university.
2. Candidates holding a professional qualification in hospitality or tourism, combined with a Bachelor’s degree, may also be eligible, subject to university norms.
Admission Details
Candidates must pass the university's Ph.D. Entrance Test (PET) or have a valid score in national-level exams like UGC-NET, SET, or SLET.
