About RMLAU Faizabad

Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University was established in the year 1975 by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The university was formerly known as Avadh University, Ayodhya and later on it was renamed as Dr Ram Manohar Lohia Avadh University. The university has more than 600 colleges affiliated to it and spread over seven districts of U.P- Ayodhya, Sultanpur, Ambedkarnagar, Lucknow, Baharaich, Barabanki and Gonda. The university offers a variety of courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate level. RMLAU Faizabad is spread over a campus size of 112 acres. The total number of faculty members at the university is 72 and 3,977 students. The university offers scholarships to meritorious and needy students. RMLAU Faizabad also has a placement & soft skills development cell and assists in offering placement support to its students.

The vision of the institute is to disseminate education and knowledge to all the sections of the society. The mission of the institute is to offer a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral courses.

Lal Bahadur Shastri International Airport is located at a distance of approxiamately 190 kms away from the university. Faizabad Bus Station is around 3 km away from the university. Students can easily hire an auto from the railway station or bus stand to reach the campus. Students can reach the university from the airport by hiring a cab or a taxi.

Students at the institution have access to a variety of facilities and infrastructure. College Infrastructure

Yes, my college have all the necessary equipment and facilities. In my class for all student bench is there and space to put their bags and lights are enough and windows were there. Wifi was present only for staff not for students.

College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is on the whole a good one and it is having all the necessary facilities and equipments. There is not yet the smart board facility but still it fulfills all the necessary facilities. It is well maintained and used. The living spaces are clean and hygienic.
