Diploma in Minimal Access Technician is a Full-time Two Year course offered by Era University, Lucknow. Minimal Access Surgery refers to any surgical procedure that is done by minor incisions. These operations are often referred to as key hole/button surgery and are beneficial for patients as smaller incisions, quicker healing time, decreased pain and almost no scarring is assured. In addition to all this, MIS also gives a higher rate of accuracy compared to open surgery. The program provides comprehensive training in clinical management and laboratory practices so as to develop knowledge and skills in all aspects of minimal invasive surgery. Students are trained to understand all the basic concepts (instruments, tools, and anaesthesia) to be able to perform the most widely used fundamental laparoscopic techniques.
