Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Electronics and Communication Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by GMR Institute of Technology, Rajam recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada.

Eligibility Criteria

(i) The Candidate shall be an Indian National.

(ii) The Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as on 31st December of the Academic year for which the admissions are being

conducted

(iii) The candidate should have passed the qualifying examination (10+2) or equivalent on the date of his / her Counselling for admission, and secured a rank at the Common Entrance Test and should also satisfy other conditions laid down in these Rules

Lateral entry admissions: Students with diploma qualification have an option of direct admission into 2nd year B. Tech. (Lateral entry scheme)

Admission Details

Under Category A: 70% of the seats are filled through EAMCET counselling.

Under Category B: 30% seats are filled based on 10+2 merits in compliance with guidelines of APSCHE

Lateral entry admissions: 20% seats of sanctioned intake will be available in each course as supernumerary seats. Admissions to this three year B Tech later entry Programme will be through ECET. The maximum period to complete B. Tech. under lateral entry scheme is six consecutive academic years from the date of joining.

College Infrastructure

Yes,the college has tha necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. All the classrooms are well equipped. The laboratories have all the necessary and well updated equipments. The libraries also have all types of necessary books.

College Infrastructure

The beautiful landscaping and proximity to the sea add to the overall appeal, making it a great place to learn. The sports facilities include a gym, tennis courts, and a football field. The campus is adorned with trees and gardens, providing a pleasant atmosphere.

Our college have beautiful atmosphere, having beautiful animals inside college. Our college have various traditional values like cow traditional and etc. In our city we worship cow as a goddess, i am very happy to see lot of cows inside college campus.
