Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication, Jaipur was established in 2019. Department of Media Studies of the HJU Jaipur offers an introduction to specialised courses in Introduction to Journalism, Print Journalism, Radio Journalism, TV Journalism and Online Journalism. 

Interested candidates can pursue courses in Hindi, Animation, English, Journalism, Mass Communication, Photography, Public Relations and Social Work. The courses provided by the Haridev Joshi University of Journalism and Mass Communication include BA JMC, PGD, MA and PhD. Admission into UG and PG are given based on merit acquired by the students in the qualifying examination and PhD admissions are given based on the admission test conducted by the university.
