72 MonthsPh.D. (Executive) programme at IIM Nagpur is a doctoral programme in management for working business executives who are inclined to gain profound understanding of management research and contribute to management theory and practice. This programme will provide participants with rigourous training in various areas of management research and help them undertake high quality interdisciplinary research. This programme will be offered with following specialization areas:

The participants are expected to complete the programme within four to six years. The initial six months of coursework will be followed by a comprehensive assessment before participants will undertake the thesis work for the remaining duration under the supervision of an Dissertation Advisory Committee (DAC). Paticipants are expected to submit their thesis by the end of the fourth academic year. If a paticipant does not complete the dissertation by the end of the sixth academic year, he/she may be allowed to register for one additional year, only on the recommendation of his/her DAC Chair and Ph.D. Programme Chairperson.
