Academic building is fully furnished with air conditioners and it has high-speed Wi-Fi network in the whole building as the campus is not the permanent campus of IIT Bhilai, it is managed from the building of government engineering college, Raipur, library has good no of books of almost all necessary topics, and also has a UPSC corner for UPSC aspirants, sports facilities are also available such as badminton, football, volleyball, basketball, etc. And hostel has good Wi-Fi connection and mess food is average. The hostel is a bit crowded, especially for girls.
Our college provides a very good Wi-Fi facility in our hostel. The food served in our mess is not appreciable. Sports activities are conducted, but due to less number of grounds, it affects practice. There are various departments in IIT Bhilai like CSE, EE, DSAI, Mechatronics, Material Science, and Metallurgy. There are many classrooms and two lecture halls with capacities of 300 to 500. The main attraction of IIT Bhilai is the library, which is surrounded by water bodies and greenery.
I find the infrastructure average.it consists of a lot of discarded materials which can be used properly if it is renovated and can be of great help. The campus is equipped with spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories, and modern amenities, providing students with the resources they need to excel in their academic pursuits.
Hello reader,
kindly note the branch of your interest and pally it with the college ranking. you can switch between the ranking and branch selection as per your adaptability and preference. I think IITs are always the best premier institutes when opting for the core engineering stream.
Hi Aspirant
Indian Institute of Technology, Bhilai, is one of the 6 IITs which was established in the year 2016 in the state of Chhattisgarh by the Ministry of Human Resource and Development. It is also known as IIT Bhilai. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The campus of IIT Bhilai covers an area of 432 acres and it has a total of 45 faculty members.
Although the campus is a new one, but overall the classrooms are extremely well maintained, the faculties are really helpful, polite, qualified. The placement records are best for CSE and ECE branch while for the rest you can expect an average salary.

Dear aspirant,
If you were to go by my opinion then i think you should take iit bhilai only if you get non core branches but if you are not getting non core branches then i don't think you should iit bhilai as it's newer iit.
Whereas nit Raipur is very good and renowned in terms of placements and academic achievements. Here you can take both non core and core branches. The average package of this college is 8.7L per annum.
Although iit bhilai has 10L average package but that is mainly due to its non core branches and not the core branches.
