About IUST Pulwama
The Islamic University of Science and Technology Pulwama was established in the year 2005 and accredited by NAAC with a grade of ‘B+’. The IUST is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) and approved by AICTE. The total number of IUST courses available is 61 and includes BBA, B.Sc, B.Tech, MBA, M.Tech, M.Sc, MCA, Ph.D and so on.
Admissions are granted to IUST based on JEE Main for BE./B.Tech courses, CUET UG for B.Sc, BBA and BA (Hons) courses, NATA for B.Arch, and CET-J&K BOPEE for B.Sc Nursing course. M.E/M.Tech, MA, M.Sc, and MCA courses at IUST take admissions based on CUET PG marks while MBA admissions are based on CMAT/MAT marks.
The IUST Pulwama has a separate placement cell on campus to handle all the placement activities. As per the official records, the highest package offered in IUST Pulwama 2023 placements was worth Rs 10.50 Lakhs in the MBA course. College Infrastructure
The infrastructure is one of the only good things about the university. It is very huge, the labs could use some work but now they are advanced too. They weren’t as advanced before so that’s good. Classes are cool

College Infrastructure
The college has all necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment needed by the students. The facilities in all departments are up to the mark and are latest. The campus is clean and offers hygienic food.

For other branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical with 68.98 percentile in JEE Mains 2024 , you may have a better chance to get admission in Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) in Awantipora, Jammu & Kashmir . but for branches like CSE or ECE, which are more competitive
you may have a better chance. IUST primarily considers JEE Mains scores and also offers seats through state counseling, so you should definitely participate in the counseling process to explore your chances.

NIT Srinagar is Very great in contrast with IUST in numerous ways:-
- The placement of NIT Srinagar is extremely good.NIT Srinagar has a 100 percent placement in CSE,IT. Practically 9o% position in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and communication.
- Climate of NIT Srinagar is absolutely magnificent. It comes in top 5 most lovely grounds in India.
- Workforce of NIT Srinagar is a lot of Experienced and old.

hope you are doing well
well 63 percentile in not good enough in mains exam but still may be there is a chance to get good government college if you have some reservations.. It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category
However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced
But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly
