IUST Pulwama

The Islamic University of Science and Technology Pulwama was established in the year 2005 and accredited by NAAC with a grade ‘B’. The IUST is recognised by the University Grants Commission and approved by AICTE. The university offers various courses in multiple fields at four levels of programmes. The IUST courses include diploma, and undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses. Before applying for a desired course the candidates should meet the IUST eligibility criteria. The candidates should appear for the relevant entrance examination which includes JEE Main/CAT/MAT/GATE or equivalent examination.

The IUST admissions will be based on the scores obtained in the entrance examination and performance in the past academics. The IUST Pulwama has a separate placement cell on campus to handle all the placement activities. The IUST placement cell acts as a bridge between the students and companies. The university provides multiple facilities on campus for students and employees. College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is average . The university still working on upgrading its infrastructure, the university provides wifi facility , labs , well organized classrooms, library , medical facilities and sports and games is also encouraged.

College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of humanities was equivalent to dung shed. Infrastructure of only a few departments can be deemed as satisfactory. One of the reasons could be that the university is still in its construction phase.

NIT Srinagar is Very great in contrast with IUST in numerous ways:-

The placement of NIT Srinagar is extremely good.NIT Srinagar has a 100 percent placement in CSE,IT. Practically 9o% position in Mechanical, Electrical and Electronics and communication.
Climate of NIT Srinagar is absolutely magnificent. It comes in top 5 most lovely grounds in India.
Workforce of NIT Srinagar is a lot of Experienced and old.
Most elevated bundles for NIT Srinagar is 10lacs-11lacs and normal is 5lacs-5.5 lacs.

hope you are doing well

well 63 percentile in not good enough in mains exam but still may be there is a chance to get good government college if you have some reservations.. It depends upon the JEE Main and JEE Advance cut offs, If You manage to qualify the exam by achieving the cut off, You can apply for JOSAA Counselling. It should be noted the cut off for EWS/SC/ST/FEMALES/OBC category is lower than the general category

However It is usually advised to fill the choices as per the preference of colleges and departments, for example CSE in NIT Trichy is your priority followed by CSE in NIT Warangal, you can fill CSE at NIT Trichy at serial number 1 and CSE at NIT Warangal at serial number 2 and so on and so forth. However to get any NIT, you must have qualified JEE Mains and to get any IIT, you must have qualifies JEE Advanced

But the previous cut offs of colleges should be taken in consideration, it is better to research over the cut off of colleges then make a preference list of colleges and fill accordingly
