is big, clean, and surrounded by nature The department has classrooms and computer labs where students can practice coding and work on projects. The labs have enough computers for basic programming and practical classes. However, some computers and lab equipment are old and need upgrading. Internet speed is slow at times
Teachers explain subjects like programming, data structures, and computer networks in a clear way. Classes and lab sessions are held regularly. some subjects are taught more in a theory way and need more practical guidance. A few teachers still use old teaching methods, and students feel they need to learn coding and new technologies on their own
Placements are okay but not very strong. A few IT and software companies do visit the campus, and some students get job offers in entry-level tech roles the number of companies that come for CSE placements is limited, and big IT firms don’t come often
since placements are not very strong and industry exposure is limited, many students feel they need to spend extra money on online courses, coding practice, and internships to improve job chances. Some lab equipment and internet facilities also need improvement. So overall, it is good value for money for learning and getting a degree, but students must put in extra effort and sometimes extra cost to become job ready
There are technical events, seminars, and workshops sometimes for CSE students.Campus life is not very happening or exciting compared to big universities.Weather is very cold in winter, which makes campus life difficult. Outside campus, there are very few hangout places.
The uni is very large and surrounded by mountains and greenery, which makes it a peaceful place to study the university looks modern from the outside However, in some departments the furniture feels old and the heating system during winter is not strong enough, which can make classes uncomfortable in cold weather.the Rumi Library, is one of the best parts of the infrastructure. It is big, quiet, and has a good collection of books and online resources. It is a nice place for self-study, but during exam time it becomes crowded and sometimes the Wi-Fi inside the library is slow.
Academics in the BBA department is simple and well structured. Teachers are supportive and explain concepts clearly. The course focuses on management basics, but practical exposure and industry training needs improvement. The syllabus is completed on time and there is gap given for semister exams
Some companies visit the campus every year, but not in large numbers. A few students get placed, mainly in IT, engineering and civil. Bba students do not have much sope in placements. students prepare for jobs on their own by doing internships and skill courses outside college.
For courses like BBA, students usually pay around ₹30,000–40,000 per year, which is reasonable for a government university. Hostel and mess charges are separate but also not very expensive. Considering the fees, the facilities like classrooms, library, and campus environment are decent
There are sports grounds, cultural programs, and small events. the university is surrounded by mountains and greenery, However, campus life can feel a bit slow because the university is far from the city and there are limited entertainment and food options nearby.
the college has decent infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, libraries, and laboratories. basic facilities like Wi-Fi, smart boards, and study spaces are available, though improvements are needed in space and maintenance. hostels and common areas are clean, and food hygiene is good.
The Academics structure is well designed and focuses on building a strong theoretical foundation. teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, and approachable, and most of them explain concepts clearly. the curriculum is updated to some extent but still needs more practical exposure.
Placements at the college are average and mainly depend on the student's own efforts. some students get places through campus drive, internships, or off campus opportunities, but the percentage of placed students is limited.
the course fee is reasonable compared to other institutions offering similar programs.
campus life is calm and academic oriented. the students can take part in various programs.
my overall experience at this college has been fairly good with both positive and areas of improvement.
(IUST) has a large and calm campus. The classrooms are fine and the labs are useful for regular practical work. The library is quiet and good for studying. Hostels are available and the food is manageable. There are canteens and basic sports facilities. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to study without too much disturbance.
Academics are strict and focused. Classes happen regularly, the syllabus is finished on time, and there are many assignments. Teachers explain well, but students have to work hard on their own too. Overall it's average.
Placements are limited. There are almost no placement opportunities for business management students, while a few placements are available mainly for Civil Engineering. Most students depend on off-campus opportunities and their own efforts.
College offers decent value for money. The fees are affordable and facilities are reasonable for the cost. However, due to limited placements, students need to rely on self-effort to fully benefit.
Campus life at is calm and quiet. The environment is peaceful and mostly focused on studies, with limited events and activities. It’s good for students who prefer a disciplined and low-distraction campus.
IUST has a large and calm campus. The classrooms are fine and the labs are useful for regular practical work. The library is quiet and good for studying. Hostels are available and the food is manageable. There are canteens and basic sports facilities. Overall, it’s a peaceful place to study without too much disturbance.
Most teachers are knowledgeable and explain concepts clearly. The syllabus is completed on time, and students are given many assignments throughout the semester. Classes are regular and exams are conducted properly. Overall, academics are stable.
Placements at IUST are very limited for BBA and MBA students, and there are currently no proper placement opportunities for these courses. Most of the placement support is seen in Civil Engineering, where a few companies visit. Management students mainly depend on off-campus opportunities and personal efforts.
Cost per year of bba course is 50000/-
The infrastructure is one of the only good things about the university. It is very huge, the labs could use some work but now they are advanced too. They weren’t as advanced before so that’s good. Classes are cool
I’m studying ECE. Most of the teachers are top notch but few actually one in particular makes it his life purpose to make student’s life hell. The said teacher teacher ECE students for 3 semesters and they are the worst semesters.
I don’t think university provides campus placements. Last year only 2 candidates were placed and with minimum salaries. Only go for this uni if you’re desperate. But I did like my overall experience and the teachers are good
I think the fee should be way lesser than it is. My course costs about 1 lakh including bus fee for 1 year.
The campus life is amazing. Nothing much to do obviously. No good enough events. But you can have fun with your friends. No one will stop you.
No thanks

hi ,
Admission to the B.Tech Mechanical Engineering program at the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is based on a combination of JEE Main scores and academic performance. Specifically, IUST allocates a 60% weightage to JEE Main (Paper-I) scores and 40% to marks from the qualifying examination.

Hello there,
Securing a 40 percentile in the JEE Main exam indicates that approximately 60% of candidates scored higher than you. Admission to the Islamic University of Science and Technology (IUST) is primarily based on JEE Main ranks. While specific cutoff details for IUST are not publicly available, it's important
Hi
hope you doing well
