IUST Pulwama Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a boy’s hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. These hostels are provided 24x7 power backup and suitable environment for studying as well as recreation. For allotment, preference is given to meritorious students from far-flung areas. The Hostel mess is run by students themselves with all logistic support from the University.

The library offers a conducive environment for access to quality information resources that enables a diverse community of learners to think critically, communicate effectively, and engage in lifelong learning. It is sufficiently equipped so as to help students excel and realize their full potential as the youth of the twenty-first century. The library system thus serves as a key to intellectual resources that support the teaching, learning and research goals of the university.

IUST University has a number of buses on various roads, such as Srinagar, Shopian, Pulwama, Anantnag, and Tral. The buses  service is available for both the students and staff on a regular basis to and from campus. The allocation of the bus facility is minimal and is made preferably available to the girls' students as per the vacancies. Students can use private and government transport to Awantipora University campus, which constantly and regularly flies between different districts.

The student has to pay their dues through challan generated from student login account and deposit the challan in any branch of JK Bank.The J & K Bank has opened its full fledged branch with ATM facility in the University campus for the benefit of students and staff.

IUST provides medical facilities for all the students and staff. The 24x7 ambulance along with a medical consultant is available for any emergency.

Focussing on overall growth of students, the university provides numerous sports facilities. Sports such as  football, cricket, volleyball, basketball and trekking and other sporting events at State as well as National level also conducted.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminar.

The guest house of IUST is available for all the parents and all other guests who visit during different events and fests.

The canteen of IUST is open for students and staff. The canteen workers make sure to provide good and healthy food.
