72 MonthsDoctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) is an offered Full-time three/six-year Doctoral program and it is offered by Junagadh Agricultural University, Junagadh. Ph.D. program shall be for a minimum duration of three years, including course work and a maximum of six years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate should possess a Master's degree in Veterinary Science & Animal Husbandry with an OGPA of not less than 6.50 (10 point basis) or it's equivalent. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, and SEBC class will be admitted to the Master's degree program with OGPA of not less than 5.50 (10 point basis) or it's equivalent and to Ph.D. Degree with OGPA of not less than 6.00 (10 point basis) or it's equivalent.

Admission is based on the Entrance Test and Interview conducted by the University.
