36 MonthsMaster of Dental Surgery (MDS) : Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery are 3 years' courses which commence in May. Course structure and content are in accordance with guidelines of the Dental Council of India. The MDS degree shall be conferred after acceptance of a thesis and after the candidate has passed the MDS examination which is held at the end of 36 months. The examination consists of 4 written papers, clinical (or practical) and oral examinations.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate for admission to the Master in Dental Surgery course, must possess a recognised degree of Bachelor in Dental Surgery awarded by a university or institute in India and registered with the State Dental Council and has obtained provisional or permanent registration and has undergone compulsory rotatory internship of a year in an approved/recognised dental college.
Admission Details
Admission in KGMU MDS Courses is only through National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET-MDS) Examination.
