Eligibility Criteria
Candidates with a B.Sc. degree from a recognized University with 50% marks (45% for SC/ ST candidates from Karnataka) in aggregate. The applicant should have studied Chemistry/ Bio-Chemistry as one of the majors during the undergraduate programme. Applicants who have studied Biochemistry / Chemistry as core courses during their Bachelor’s Degree programme in Biotechnology / Microbiology / Botany / Zoology / Genetics / Industrial Microbiology/ Life Sciences / Applied Botany / Applied Zoology / Environmental Science / Home Science / Sericulture / Biological Science / B.Sc. Agriculture/ Horticulture/ Forestry/Bachelor’s degree in Fisheries/ Veterinary / Diary and B.Tech. Biotechnology is also eligible to apply.
