60 MonthsDoctor Of Philosophy (Ph.D.) program in Physical Education Pedagogy shall be for a minimum duration of Three years, including course work and the maximum duration is five years. Extension beyond the above limits will be governed by the relevant clauses as stipulated in the Statute/Ordinance of the individual Institution concerned Offered by Lakshmibai National Institute of Physical Education, Gwalior.
Eligibility Criteria
A candidate must have passed Master Degree in Physical Education (M.P.Ed.) or its equivalent degree from a recognized University/Institute in India or abroad with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) or equivalent grade.
Admission Details
Admission to the Ph.D. program shall be through an Entrance Test comprising of a Research Eligibility Test (RET) and Presentation/Interview. The recipient of JRF from UGC will be exempted from qualifying for the Research Entrance Test (RET). On the basis of the merit in the Research Eligibility Test (RET)/Presentation/Interview, the candidates shall be admitted to the program.

College Infrastructure
Facilities like Wi-Fi, labs and a library are available for all the students. The quality of the hostel provided here is very good. The quality of food served is decent in the mess and canteen as well. Medical facilities are always available. The playground is situated beside the hostel for entertainment purposes. Cricket and football kits are also available.
