BASLP at MMU Mullana Offline Course

The course BASLP i.e bachelors in Audiology and Speech-language Pathology is run under ENT department. It has been seen by National sample surver org. (NSSO) and who that there are high percentage of hearing and speech disability in children in India which leads to poor educational skills, poor speaking skills, unable to communicate properly, affected intelligence and low qaulity of life as a long term sffect if untreated. Research has shown that if hearing and speech disorder detected and treated early in life then these consequences can be reversed. Work as speech Language Pathologists and Audiologists in various hospitals set up, super specialty clinics such as Neurology/EN/Pediatric/oncology clinics and rehabilitation centers Students also have opportunities to work as industrial audiologists, audiologists in hearing aid and cochlear implant industries and can also opt for serving in private clinics. Students may also work at the level of faculty positions and research scholars in various Institutions/ Universities. They can also works as Swallowing Therapists in Dysphagia rehabilitation centers, speech Language pathologists in normal and special schools, stroke rehabilitation and dementia clinics.

Duration - 3 Years +1 year Internship.
