There are many students in NBRC from computer science background. We have a good computational neuroscience unit in NBRC. Since you are not from life science background they do not expect a vast knowledge of this field. But you should have a brief idea about neuroscience.

      College Infra

National Brain Research centre having a wonderful infrastructure that is Located in the foothills of the Aravali range in Manesar, Haryana, NBRC is an autonomous institute funded by the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India, and is also a Deemed-to-be University. NBRC has been recognised as an Institution of Excellence by Govt. of India.

      Placements

If you’re a researcher, you have most of the benefits of an academic job, minus the teaching responsibilities, and with better students and fewer worries about resources. And you don’t have the profit-driven concerns that come with industrial research. The limitations I keep hitting are mostly my own, rather than those imposed by the organization. That’s a pretty sweet spot to be in.
