About Nagaland University

The Nagaland University was established on September 6, 1994, by Act of Parliament No. 35 of 1989 as a central university in Nagaland. Nagaland University is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Nagaland University has four campuses, which include headquarters at Lumami Campus, Kohima Campus, Medziphema Campus, and Dimapur Campus. Nagaland University has been accredited by the NAAC. Nagaland University offers full-time postgraduate and doctoral programmes such as M.A, M.Sc, L.L.M and Ph.D. For Nagaland University L.L.M admissions, students need to appear for an entrance examination followed by an interview.

Prime Minister’s Fellowship for Doctoral Research

Aspirants need to have an industry partner to sponsor 50% of the fellowship.
