PCC or Public College of Commerce, Dimapur, is one of the reputed commerce college, founded in 1985, and the principal aim is to deliver quality education in commerce in Nagaland. Established in 1980, PCC is situated at Dimapur is located at the centre of the state and has been playing its role in shaping the young generation into skilled professionals of business fields for last three and half decades. It has also affiliations that include recognition by the National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC), it shows their strong educational integrity. PCC occupies 0 acres of land and 555 students and comprises a compact campus, but it provides a concentrated educational process due to the qualified staff of 18 professors. The college has two undergraduate programmes in commerce which meet todays market demands.

PCC boasts of having developed facilities to support the learning of the students it admits. A modern college facility with highly stocked colege library, textbooks, magazines, newspapers, and periodicals are also fixed in the college. E-books, journals and periodicals are available through the library internet and INFLIBNET centre making the students and faculty members to embrace research and self study habit. Concerning technology, the college has a computer laboratory with 36 computers with internet connections. First to fourth semester students participate in various certificate courses of different modules to acquire modern digital skills in the workplace.

The college offers two full-time undergraduate programmes: Bachelors of Commerce (B.Com) and Bachelors of Commerce Honors (BCom Hons). Both programmes last three years and offers students sound knowledge in the field of commerce and business. The regular B.Com course costs Rs 59,010 per annum and for B.Com Honours is Rs 62,610 for the same. These are intended to content wide spectrum of career goals of students so that they may have requisite skills to join the business world at some executive level or may wish pursue higher education

Games and sports is an annual event in the college and all forms of games including football, volley ball, basketball, cricket and athletics are maintained. The college’s Alumni Association holds its meetings from time to time so that reflecting the improved relations of alumni and present learners, it also provides support to the development of the college.
