Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) in Civil Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate program offered at the National Institute of Technology Mizoram.

The Department of Civil Engineering started functioning from July 2014. The Department offers a four-year Undergraduate level course with an intake capacity of 30 students and a PhD. doctorate courses.

The department aims at providing quality education to all the young Civil Engineering aspirants to help them grow and shape a better career. The Department works with an objective to produce competent engineers and researchers who will go ahead along with the fast growing technology.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together.

Admission Details

Admission to B.Tech degree programs at NIT Mizoram in the year, through Central Counseling Board, will be based on the performance in the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main).

College Infrastructure

The Institute provide us with all the necessities infrastructure, equipments and facilities which can enhance our stay and academic. The Institute has hostels, proper mess, sports facilities, classrooms which can accommodate more than 70 students with proper seats. The hostel and mess are clean and hygienic. All the equipments are well maintained and available for each students.
