Cutoff for gen should be around 15/100 and for SC/ST/OBC 11.25 so you are safe that way. However merit list is prepared based on both entrance exam marks and class 12 boards percent etc.

18 for Gen (15%)

According to previous year cut offs and on the basis of merit list , you have fare chance of getting name in first merit list . But if you not selected in first list , then you must need to wait for 2nd or 3rd merit list

Pondicherry University is known for its largeand scenic campus spread campus spread over hundreads of acres. The university offers hostels, a central library, wifi facilities, sport complexes, and well-equipped academic building. the greenery and peaceful environment are major advantages. The living space is very clean of this college also the food given by the cafeteria was hygiene and as well as tasty at the same time and also the class very spacious which is very comfortable for the students
