48 MonthsBA in Journalism & Mass Communication, is a 4 year undergraduate course which has been designed to teach the students about mass communication. It is designed to help students learn about each constituent of mass media in detail, for e.g. newspaper, radio, etc.
BA Journalism & Mass Communication familiarizes students with the theoretical and methodological foundations of Media Studies as well as introduces students to the practice and study of media communication through Print Media, Broadcast Media, Social Media, etc.
Eligibility Criteria
Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Lateral Entry
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
