48 MonthsB.A. Hons. Sociology is an undergraduate program which deals with various aspects of social behaviour and its consequence on modern society. The duration of this course is 4 years divided into 8 semesters. Sociology is a branch of study which investigates into multiple aspects of society and social behaviour. After having the degree course completed candidates have a lot of career opportunities in many human welfare-related fields, Educational departments, Creative/Technical writing, Home tuition and work in positions like Teacher, Advisor, etc.
Any 12th passed with 50% (for SC/ST/OBC 45%)
Students having CUET Score will be given preference in merit.
Students should have successfully completed a certificate, diploma or degree program as defined by NEP 2020 to seek admission into Semester 3, Semester 5 and Semester 7, respectively, of NEP based four-year undergraduate program post completion of exit formalities at undergoing college/ university.
Students can seek lateral entry into a program till the validity of their credits on ABC, which is 7 years. Students shall be allowed lateral entry in the streams/ subjects already pursuing.
